8 Reason to List Your Home This Fall

Spring and summer are often considered the best times to list your home for sale, however this fall looks to be the best fall for real estate in nearly a decade. Here are eight reasons to list your home for sale this fall:

1.    There is less competition when listing a home in the fall instead of spring

2.    Inventory is near all-time lows in most price ranges (below $1 million)

3.    Buyers are fewer but overall more serious about buying, resulting in fewer but more productive showings

4.    Appraisals are more favorable and easier to find following a robust summer market

5.    Interest rates remain historically low

6.    Companies look to relocate employees before the end of the year, creating a desire for a quick closing

7.    It’s the last chance to photograph your house under the best circumstances until next spring as leaves and other foliage have not gone into winter hibernation

8.    December is historically the biggest month for closings from September to March every year

As a native Atlantan with a passion for this city and its people, real estate isn’t just a way to pay the bills, but a way for me to meaningfully engage with those passions. I don’t look at the market as a bunch of past and future transactions, but as an opportunity to help people invest in their communities. As a REALTOR®, my role is to use the expertise I've gained to be your guide, advisor, and emotional support as we walk together on the journey of buying or selling your home. In addition to the support you will receive from me, you'll also benefit from a team that has almost two decades of experience. With that amount of experience between the four us, you can trust we have seen it all, and are prepared to address any of the number of complexities that may arise.
